A mobile structure for display purposes such as puppet and marionette shows, theatrical performances, exhibitions and suchlike. The structure comprises at least one basic element which is formed by three surfaces (1, 2, 3) enclosed by frame portions which are jointly and hingably connected to one another. The frame portion of at least one 1 of the surfaces incorporates a hinge (10) substantially in the centre thereof, and of which the hingeaxis runs parallel with the hingeaxes of the surfaces. In its operating position, the basic element assumes a triangular form in cross-section. The store-away state is obtained by folding the hinged frame portion inward and then clapping the other framed surfaces together.
