The present invention relates to a washing machine for exhibition and a method for controlling the washing machine for exhibition. The washing machine of the present invention comprises : a plurality of transparent housings; a plurality of tubs which is respectively provided in the plurality of housings; a plurality of drums which is provided in the plurality of tubs to rotate therein; and a control unit which controls the rotation of the drum, wherein the control unit operates any one among the plurality of drums with multiple operation motions according to a predetermined demonstration mode and operates the remaining drums with a tumbling motion.
