The present invention relates to a press type C-shaped steel for reducing materials and maintaining rigidity in comparison with an existing C-shaped steel and, more specifically, a manufacturing method for increasing rigidity of materials by flattering and pressing a plurality of curve shapes in which a material (a skelp) is stretched in the width (to stretch the skelp by reducing the thickness (t) of the same) according to drawing and embossing press processing methods (the width stretched according to the processing depth is changed) and is curved and performing a plastic work on the curve shape so that a circular material is reduced by providing the skelp material for manufacturing the C-shaped steel including a narrower deployed width than existing deployed width.
