This invention relates to the use of the combination of soil-cement-earth bag in the construction of wall system applied to housing. The earth bag is made of copra sack. In use, the copra sack is cut into half, thereby creating two bags, which is likened to a brick then filled with cement and soil. The sides of the copra sack are neatly sewn in all corners to form a casing, capable of forming into an adobe-shaped wall material. With all sides sewn, cross slits on one face provide the opening for the soil-cement mixture. The bags are then filled mixed "loom" soil, cement, and water. Once the earth bags are ready, the earth bag wall system of the house will be laid out and excavated, with two layers of earth bags placed one on top of the other to form the foundation of the house, until the excavation is completely filled up. A special wooden mould box is used to define and form the brick-like earth bag. As the earth bags are laid, 2 layers of barbed wire are anchored on top of the earth bag to hold or tie it until the mixture hardens. Thereafter, the next earth bag layer is placed on top one by one in alternate position, which makes one earth bag resting evenly on two earth bags below it. Again, barbed wires are placed to tie the earth bags, and the pattern is repeated layer by layer until the last layer of earth bag reaches the top where bamboo rafter supports are anchored. The design and rigidity of the earth bag wall structure is a strong guard against earthquake and other calamities.
