The present invention relates to a system and a method for health management using a smart health vending machine. According to the present invention, the system includes : a smart health vending machine selling health supplements, providing product information of the supplements through a display screen, and conducting a payment process for a sold supplement through connection with a mobile application of a user terminal; the user terminal including the mobile application to conduct a payment process for a supplement sold through the vending machine, and making payment for the supplement by using the mobile application; and a service provider server linking the vending machine with the user terminal, providing the mobile application to the user terminal, assigning an ID to the vending machine, receiving and storing sale information from the vending machine, and controlling health supplement advertisements displayed on the display screen of the vending machine. According to the present invention, a user is able to conveniently purchase health supplements by linking a smartphone with the vending machine, and as the present invention provides customized recommendations for health supplements, a health management service, an exercise method, and a diet control service, the user is able to efficiently manage his/her health or exercise condition.
