Inlet filter is designed to filter the solid component of wastewater, and the outlet filter, containing filter media, filters the antimicrobial component of wastewater. Inlet filter is a screening filter comprising a rotatable housing, with an annular wall with an inwardly facing surface forming a channel for receiving the wastewater from the collection line at the inlet. Annular wall comprises a filter part having a plurality of apertures along an inwardly facing surface, passing through the annular wall to filter the solid component of the wastewater, and the strip portion, having a continuous surface along the inwardly facing surface and extending around the channel for receiving the wastewater from the collecting line at the entrance to the continuous surface, as the wastewater passes into the filter section.
