FIELD : medicine.SUBSTANCE : invention relates to medical equipment, specifically to automatic injectors. Injector comprises : a cover extending along a longitudinal axis; a syringe for injecting a medicament, which is disposed inside the cover and which comprises a needle, a needle protector, a body and a plunger; a rod for pushing the plunger into the syringe body, which is moved axially forwards by a resilient load force exerted by a first spring, during injection; a tip for protecting the needle, which is axially movable about the needle and against a resilient load force exerted by a second spring, between a forward position in which said tip surrounds the needle and a retracted position in which the needle is uncovered; means for blocking the forward movement of the rod. Blocking means are configured such as to be deactivated when the tip is moved towards the retracted position thereof or reaches said position, and to be reactivated during injection when the tip is moved towards the forward position thereof or reaches said position. Means for blocking the forward movement of the rod comprise : a lever for blocking movement of the rod, which is configured to block the forward movement of a rack made on the push rod, wherein the tip comprises a cam of canceling the blocking action the first lever on the rack, wherein said cam causes the first lever to rotate into a rack-release configuration when the tip comes to the retracted position, or two resilient plates that belong to the tip and are located on both sides of the push rod, and two stops of blocking the resilient plates in a position in which the resilient plates hold the rod pressed therebetween.EFFECT : version of an automatic injector is disclosed.9 cl, 16 dwg
