In the method, the intranasal device (splint) has a base made of elastic material, made in the form of plate (1), and air guide tube (2) fixed on it, in the front and rear sections of which elastic filled chambers (3, 4) are located. Said device is intended for installation in the nasal cavity at the final stage of surgical treatment of nasal septum curvature and chronic rhinitis. Said base plate of a heptagonal shape provides shielding of the nasal septum in the postoperative period for better healing and prevention of complications. Said air tube of the device allows to ensure nasal breathing in the postoperative period. And the elastic chambers with individual channels for the introduction of the filler in the filled state provide tampon (hemostatic) function in the early postoperative period.
