FIELD : medicine.SUBSTANCE : invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For fixation of sutures in penetrating or anterior lamellar keratoplasty in patients after anterior dosed radial keratotomy, a graft is fixed to the recipient' s cornea with a circular continuous zigzag suture. When the top of the loop of this suture gets on the keratotomy scar (CR), a simple nodular suture is imposed, for which needles are punctured with a thread, departing from the top of the loop of the continuous suture by 0.3–0.5?mm along the CR to the periphery and 0.5–0.8?mm perpendicular to the CR side. Needle is held under the scar in the thickness of the corneal stroma; the needle exit is made on the other side of the scar, symmetrically a puncture. Then the ends of the thread are tied, the rest of the thread is cut, the knot is immersed in the stroma of the cornea.EFFECT : method reduces the risk of depressurization of the anterior chamber, reduces the risk of hypotension, reduces the severity of postoperative astigmatism and ensures uniform and strong fixation of the graft with penetrating keratoplasty performed for various corneal pathologies in patients after radial keratotomy.1 cl, 2 ex, 2 dwg
