First invention is a method of manufacturing an implant with at least one functional surface, characterised in that the method includes the following steps a) preparing a ceramic powder mixture; b) mixing said ceramic powder mixture with a plastic binder system to form a first raw material; c1) separating the first raw material and mixing a portion thereof with fillers to form a second raw material or c2) obtaining a second raw material in accordance with steps a) and b); d) carrying out a moulding process in which the main portion and the surface having an affinity to bones are moulded from the first and second raw materials; e) removing the binder from the raw product; f) sintering the implant preform moulded and subjected to removal of the binder to form the finished implant with a surface having an affinity to bones.
