For the treatment of pathology of total tear secretion in patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, basic therapy of rheumatoid arthritis is performed with the determination of total tear secretion using a Schirmer’s test. If a Schirmer’s test index is less than 15?mm, a treatment course is carried out for three months : 0.1?% solution of diclofenac is introduced into both eyes, followed by instillation of a 1?% solution of emoxypine after five minutes.
