The present invention provides : a pyrazole derivative; a use of the pyrazole derivative for medical purposes; and others. More specifically, the present invention relates to a medicinal agent useful for the prevention or treatment of constipation, which comprises 3-(3-{4-[3-(?D-glucopyranosyloxy)-5-isopropyl-1H-pyrazol-4-ylmethyl]-3-methylphenoxy}propylamino)-2, 2-dimethylpropionamide or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The medicinal agent according to the present invention has an activity of increasing stool frequency and the like and is therefore effective for the prevention or treatment of constipation.
