The present invention relates to the field of medicine. It relates more particularly to the use of compounds for preventing and/or treating, in a subject, myopathy, typically muscular dystrophy or cardiomyopathy, or muscular trauma. The invention also relates to the compositions, in particular pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds, as well as their uses for preventing and/or treating muscular myopathy or trauma. The compounds and compositions according to the invention may typically be advantageously used to prevent and/or treat muscular dystrophy, cardiomyopathy or muscular trauma, preferably Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD) and/or a characteristic symptom or anomaly of DMD or BMD.
