The invention relates to the field of medicine and the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, and comprises a pharmaceutical composition in the form of a biologically-active solution characterized by including glibenclamide as an active principle and including, as auxiliary substances, hydroxyethyl starch and water for injection. The invention also relates to methods for producing pharmaceutical compositions of glibenclamide in the form of a solution for injection. The compositions are effective, safe and may be applied for extended periods.
