Point of intersection of the perpendicular and the fs-fd segment is marked with a point O. Vertical continuation of the ON line on the front surface of the gypsum model is marked as LH. Next, divide the length of the segment fs-fd by the number 8.0 and the resulting value lay on the ON line from point O vertically upwards and get the segment OP. Through the point P draw a line parallel to the segment fs-fd. Obtained line AB corresponds to the position of artificial molars on the prosthesis. Horizontal continuation of the AB line to the lateral surfaces of the gypsum model as the TM on the left and JU on the right is noted. Next, calculate the parameters for finding the segment PK by measuring in millimeters the parameters : the width of the nose between the protruding points on the wings of the nose (AnAn), face width between the zygomatic points (ZyZy), the distance between the points on the ear trestle (TT) and the distance from the point on the ear trestle to the tray-carrying point (TSn). Value of the segment PK is determined by the stated formula. Calculated value of the segment PK is laid on the line ON from point P. Through the point K draw a line parallel to the segment fs-fd. Resulting CD line will correspond to the position of the artificial canines on the prosthesis.
