Control device for controlling said tongue manipulation system comprises a handle assembly and a needle assembly protruding from the handle assembly toward the distal end in the direction of the spooling axis. Needle assembly comprises an internal control shaft, which ends in the internal drive head at the distal end of the needle assembly and is rotatable by means of the first part of the handle assembly, and an outer control shaft, which ends in the outer drive head and is rotatable independently of the inner control shaft by means of the second part of the handle of the handle assembly. Method of adjusting said tongue manipulation system is carried out using a rotary drive member, which interacts with the bone anchor. Rotary drive member comprises an output shaft consisting of two concentric rotating shafts.
