PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a protein for human herpesvirus immunotherapy. SOLUTION : An isolated protein includes amino acid sequences respectively corresponding to a plurality of CTL epitopes derived from 2 or more different herpesvirus antigens, and further includes, between at least 2 of the CTL epitopes, an interposing amino acid or amino acid sequence comprising a proteasome releasing amino acid or amino acid sequence and an optional recognition motif for transporter associated with antigen processing (TAP). The isolated protein may quickly increase human cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) in vitro and elicit CTL immuno response upon being administered to animals as exogenous protein in vivo.
