PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a food product raw material having a control function of blood glucose level while having general purpose. SOLUTION : The invention relates to a composition for food product or pharmaceutical, containing high pressure processed rice as a raw material, for suppressing chronic inflammation, and/or for treating, preventing or improving life habit, in which the high pressure processed rice is component enriched rice or component enriched brown rice obtained by adding pressure to unhulled rice or brown rice at a state that the unhulled rice or the brown rice is impregnated into water of 50 wt.% to penetration transfer a rice bran component from rice bran, and the rice bran component is enriched in albumen, or component enriched polished white rice by polishing the resulting component enriched unhulled rice or component enriched brown rice.
