For prevention of complications after fistulizing surgery in the treatment of glaucoma, during the operation, 0.1–0.2 ml of viscoelastic DisCoVisc is injected into the anterior chamber until the level of the ophthalmotonous pressure is 22–24 mm Hg. After the completion of surgery, the level of ophthalmotonous pressure is assessed and the newly formed outflow pathways are monitored, including indicators of the intrascleral canal, scan and filtering bleb using ultrasound biomicroscopy data.
