PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an apparatus capable of safely performing medicinal preparation by photographing objects for use in the medicinal preparation. SOLUTION : The apparatus captures images of objects for use in medicinal preparation such as a vial and a syringe placed at a medicinal preparation area, for safely performing the medicinal preparation. The apparatus includes : at least a pair of imaging devices 43 and 44 arranged facing each other; and two reflecting elements 47 and 48 respectively for the pair of imaging devices, the reflecting elements being arranged between the pair of imaging devices along an optical axis defined by the pair of imaging devices, and respectively oriented so as to reflect images of the objects placed at the medicinal preparation area, in directions of the respectively-corresponding pair of imaging devices.
