The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for prognosticating a substance with hepatotoxicity; and a screening method for a substance with hepatotoxicity using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a biomarker composition serving as a marker capable of effectively prognosticating whether a compound of interest is toxic to human liver cells; and a method of effectively screening a compound with hepatotoxicity, in which expression amounts of biomarker genes in human liver cells treated with the compound of interest are measured and compared using the biomarker composition. According to the present invention, the presence of hepatotoxicity in a candidate drug may be confirmed rapidly and accurately by measuring and comparing expression amounts of the novel biomarker genes of the present invention in liver cells derived from human embryonic stem cells in vitro, and thus the present invention may find applications in the field of molecular diagnostics and may be very useful in the medical industry.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
