To determine the indications for performing pars plana vitrectomy in patients with vitreomacular traction syndrome (VMT), visual acuity (VO) and retinal visual acuity (RVO) on the eye with VMT are determined. That is ensured by determining the VO and RVO of the examined eye and comparing these values.
