A traditional Chinese medicine composition gas chromatography testing method, in the technical field of traditional Chinese medicine, directed toward volatile components thereof, and using gas chromatography (GC) to quantitatively determine key representative chemical components in a preparation. The testing method uses gas chromatography, a heating procedure being : an initial column temperature being 150?180癈, maintaining for 3-10 min, then heating to 200?210癈 at a rate of 5?15癈/min, and maintaining for 3-10 min. The present gas chromatography testing method can implement determination of volatile component content in a preparation, and rapidly analyze a traditional Chinese medicine composition preparation by means of multicomponent chemistry so as to evaluate quality thereof.
