To provide an edible pigment composition that has a small average dispersion particle size of a pigment and excellent dispersibility, and is applied to an inkjet aqueous ink composition, to allow direct printing by inkjet system to e.g. tablets of pharmaceuticals and foods.SOLUTION : A edible pigment composition has a pigment containing triiron tetroxide, and sodium phosphate.
