PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide W/O type cream pharmaceutical preparations containing a particular drug, such as crotamiton, the W/O type cream pharmaceutical preparations inhibiting the reduction of formulation viscosity in high- and low-temperature, securing viscosity stability in high- and low-temperature, having a maintainable cream dosage form, and aiming at both moist feel and less stickiness.SOLUTION : A W/O type cream pharmaceutical preparation contains (A) a drug selected from crotamiton, diphenhydramine and a salt thereof, chlorpheniramine and a salt thereof, isothipendyl and a salt thereof, ufenamate, as well as glycyrrhetic acid and a derivative thereof; (B) one or more selected from glycerine fatty acid ester and polyglycerol fatty acid ester, which are an ester compound of a fatty acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and (poly)glycerin; (C) a polyoxyethylene hardened castor oil with a polyoxyethylene average addition mole number of 5-20; (D) a silicone oil; and (E) a higher alcohol which is liquid at 25癈.SELECTED DRAWING : None
