The invention is related to medicine, in particular, to provision of a biologically active dietary supplement (BADS) for recovery of a disturbed thyroid gland function. The objective of the present invention is search and creation of an anti-thyrotoxicosis BADS, administration of which would aid in elimination of all excruciating symptoms of that disease and would not produce a hypothyreosis state in future. The essence of the invention consists in provision of a BADS recommended for thyroid gland function recovery comprising a water-alcohol tincture prepared, in proportion 1 : 10, from unripe, ground, fresh fruit of walnut, and such components containing high amounts of selenium as red-fruited hawthorn and common fennel.
