FIELD : metallurgy.SUBSTANCE : invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of permeable foamed material from superelastic alloy of titanium-zirconium-niobium system. It can be used in medicine, as bone implants, and in other industries, as filtering elements. Spherical particles of polymethyl methacrylate with size of not more than 250 mcm and powder of titanium-zirconium-niobium alloy with size of not more than 50 mcm are uniformly mixed at the following ratio in weight fractions : polymethylmethacrylate 0.1–0.4, metal powder - the rest. Compacted by double-side pressing at pressure of 150–200 MPa into cylindrical workpieces with diameter of 5–20 mm and height of 5–40 mm. Then pyrolysis is carried out at multistage heating with holding at temperature of 400–450°C for 2–3 hours and sintering at temperature of 1350–1400°C and pressure of not less than 0.0001 torr during 3–4 hours.EFFECT : higher porosity, high volume fraction of pores with size of 100–800 mcm, high ultimate compression strength and low value of Young' s modulus.1 cl, 1 dwg, 2 ex |
