The core comprises an active agent and ingredients subject to pH-triggered dissolution, enzymatically-degradable ingredients and/or water-insoluble ingredients. The shell comprises one or more ingredients being characterized as enteric ingredients, enzymatically-degradable, and as water-insoluble ingredients. The particles may be dispersed in a liquid or other non-dry composition.
