The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating ischemic brain diseases, containing an inhibitor of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1) or eptidylprolyl cis/trans isomerase 1 (Pin1) as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, when DAPK1 or Pin1 is treated alone or treated in a combined manner, neural cells are protected, neuroplasticity is induced, expression of an apoptosis inducing activator is reduced, and DAPK1 or Pin1-mediated apoptosis mechanism activity is reduced, thereby confirming to effectively treat and prevent ischemic brain diseases to be useful in related pharmaceutical fields.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
