PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a composition for sampling a skin sample and sampling a mucous membrane and other tissues, the composition being capable of solubilizing at least partially the skin, mucous membrane, and other tissues when used in conjunction with applied energy.SOLUTION : According to the present invention, there is provided a solubilized composition comprising a zwitterionic surfactant represented by the formula (1) and a nonionic surfactant represented by the formula (2). There is also provided a composition useful for solubilizing and remodeling and/or removing a tissue on or under the skin of a patient, optionally with the application of energy to a target area on the skin.
