The present invention describes a toroidal capillary electrophoresis system and a method for manufacturing a toroidal capillary electrophoresis system. Specifically, the present invention includes a toroidal cast microtube (10) that, in particular and on account of the toroidal shape thereof, improves performance of the electrophoresis method compared to other shapes in capillary electrophoresis systems already known in the prior art. The present invention pertains to the fields of chemistry, pharmacy and medicine.
