The present invention relates to a combined use of immune effector cells and radiation therapy for the treatment of tumors. Specifically provided is a method for administering a combined use of immune effector cells and local tumor radiation therapy to an individual suffering from a tumor to perform treatment, and performing lymphodepletion on the individual; the immune effector cells comprise a tumor antigen that recognizes a tumor and a receptor that triggers the activation of the immune effector cells. The following has been confirmed by means of tests : the method for treating tumors as provided by the present invention improves the anticancer effect for cancer patients that are non-susceptible to CAR-T treatment or that have relapsed after treatment, and also improves anticancer therapeutic effects for cancer patients, such as the elimination of tumors and the prolonging of lifespan.
