PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a composition for external use, an external preparation for skin, and a hair growth kit that can reduce skin inflammation due to the suppression of sebum excessive secretion and bacteria reproduction and have antioxidant effect, thereby improving scalp to be suitable for hair growth.SOLUTION : Provided is a composition for external use containing a zinc compound, astaxanthin, and a water-soluble red wine yeast extract. Preferably, an amount of each component is blended in the range of 0.5 wt% to 5 wt% of zinc compound, in the range of 0.00000058 wt% to 0.065 wt% of astaxanthin, and in the range of 0.05 wt% to 0.5 wt% of water soluble red wine yeast extract. The external preparation for skin of the invention contains a component comprising the aforementioned composition for external use and vitamin B2, and includes for example shampoo.
