A tubular support which is used to mount an advertising display unit. The display elements are easily replaced by others and the various advertising elements can be adjusted to the max. viewing angle. This system can be employed for example in the sale of houses, where the name, telephone number etc. of the estate agent has to be displayed. The tubular support (1) consists of two semi-cylindrical sections (2, 3) with matching edges which are joined to form the tube. Each section has longitudinal slots (34) a distance from the edges (2a, 3a). The slots are made with radialy protruding support flaps (14, 15, 14a, 15a). The support is made with holes for feeding through the advertising display section.
