The sealing strip (12) is fixed by spaced-apart fixture-pins with enlarged heads to a component, such as coachwork. The sealing-strip (12) has a longitudinally-extending base (14) made of elastic material, with holes in for the fixture-pins. The holes have an especially metal orifice between the tops of two facing metal strips (20, 22). The base (14) defines a hollow inner cavity (17) extending longitudinally. USE/ADVANTAGE - The sealing strip gives a good seal against for example a vehicle door.
