The estate car or light van with an upward swining rear door has drawers installed in the loading space. These drawers, in which the vehicle load is stowed, are accessible when the rear door is swung open. The drawers are mounted in a frame which is shaped to fit the loading space of the vehicle. This frame has guide rails to receive the drawers which can be slid horizontally between closed and open positions.
