A set of seals 1 that can be inserted between the races 3, 4 of a ball bearing 2, in which a first shield 7 is an interference fit with a first race 4 and a second shield 8 consists of a substantially rigid armature 11 and at least one elastomeric sealing part 12 that is an interference fit with a second race 3; the shields 7, 8 can be coupled together, one facing the other, and the second shield 8 has a mounting portion 14, diametrically opposite to the first shield 7, consisting of a sleeved portion 15 of the armature 11 with a diameter that is an interference fit with the second race 3, and an annular elastomeric part 16 formed as a sleeve, projecting axially from the armature 11 and with a diameter that is a tighter interference fit with the second race 3 than the preceding one.
