The body of the caravan is mounted on a three-wheeled steel carriage (11). It has composite walls (4) with a wooden outer skin (4A), insulating panels (4B) and plywood inner walls (4C). It is strengthened by spruce corner posts (4D) with Al angle mouldings (12). Door and window frames (13A, 15A) are made of Al. The door (15) is made of strong plywood with Al or timber facing. The floor (6) is similarly layered and covered with a natural rubber mat (6A). A wardrobe cupboard (9) is heated by a gas burner (9A) from which warm air is ducted (9C) under a bench (8) to outlets (9D) at knee level.
