According to the invention, automated computerized methods, computer-readable medium containing computer-executable instructions, systems, and apparatus are disclosed for creating and distributing a tour application for viewing one or more immersive images, and information describing the context and contents of the immersive images. These immersive images may illustrate a real estate property, and the information may describe the property and a real estate agent. In an embodiment, automated steps performed by a computer system generate a data structure containing descriptive information and the immersive images; and compile and link the information, images, and viewing code to produce a standalone application. This application is then automatically distributed via email or some other distribution mechanism.
