A method of real estate development including the steps of : determining the parameters for screw piers or piles for a particular building block; (optionally) providing a report to the developer; and supplying and/or installing the screw piers or piles on the block as foundations for a proposed building (or building slab) on the block. 2. A method as claimed in claim 1 wherein : ? Type A sites are left in their natural state (no compaction) ? Type B sites are not compacted to level 1 certification ? Type C sites are only partially cut to fill 3. A method as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 wherein : the parameter to be determined include : (a) depth of screw piers required for each house block; (b) ratio of habitable area to land size for each block eg 600m 2 block - 200m 2 house; (c) providing the developer a fixed price to screw pile the block irrespective of the house size and type (based on ratios); and/or (d) charging the developer for the pre-piling and pre-engineering and/or issuing a Redeemable Certificate for works for each site prior to the sale of each site. 4.
