PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for objectively and highly precisely setting a real estate rent.SOLUTION : A plurality of evaluation items being the factors of the formation of a real estate rent and evaluation points for the respective evaluation items are set in an evaluation point file, and conversion coefficients are set for the respective proprietary areas of the properties in a conversion coefficient file. Then, the total evaluation points of a plurality of already existing properties are calculated based on the evaluation point file in response to the input of information related with the evaluation items, the proprietary areas, and rents, and the converted rent per unit area and unit point is calculated according to the conversion coefficient file from the total evaluation points, the proprietary area information, and the rent information, and the mean value of the converted rents against the existing properties is calculated so that a parameter for rent evaluation can be obtained. Thus, even when the location conditions of the property object are not common to those of the already existing properties, the rent of the property object can be objectively evaluated by using the parameter for rent evaluation.
