PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To greatly save the trouble and time needed to retrieve a real estate item.SOLUTION : This retrieval service system for a real estate item is equipped with a communication terminal which sends retrieval request data including a room layout drawing image of a desired item, an input terminal 6 which receives the sent retrieval request data by the communication terminal, an item retrieval server 9 which retrieves item data stored in an item database 3 by using the room layout drawing image included in the retrieval request data received by the input terminal 6, and an output terminal 7 which sends the retrieval result obtained by the item retrieval server 9 back to the transmission source of the retrieval request data.
