PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide more detailed information on a property displaying a surrounding map, a locational environment, a commutable range for a user when displaying information on a rental house by retrieving the property corresponding to a desired condition of the user by using a real estate retrieving system.SOLUTION : This area information display system has a map file database 3 for storing image data for indicating a map of respective areas, a property information database 4 for storing the information on the rental house and a server 1 for storing a questionnaire result database 5 for storing questionnaire result information on a rental house tenant and an object property tenant of a surrounding area, and displaying respective information on a Web page. When the user inputs the desired condition from a terminal 2 making access to the server 1, information 4 on the rental house corresponding to the desired condition is retrieved, and is displayed as a summary. When selecting a specific property from the summary, image data for indicating the surrounding map of an object property is displayed, and then, information on the object property and the questionnaire result information on the rental house tenant and the object property tenant of the surrounding area are displayed on an image screen.
