PURPOSE : A method for supplying general real estate information using an Internet electronic map constructed through a geographic information system is provided to increase a convenience of a client by supplying general real estate information such as the market price, an article for sale, building information, and store information on an Internet electronic map constructed by a GIS(Geographic Information System).CONSTITUTION : Clients connect to a web site through the Internet. Server devices supply a search initial Internet electronic map web screen for enabling the client to search wanted information. The server device judges whether the client selects a specific area on the Internet electronic map or queries through a search. If a specific area is selected or a query exists, a DB server searches information with respect to the selected area or the query using a GIS server engine and transmits a search information result and map information to the client. If a specific real estate or building information is selected by the client, the DB server searches information with respect to the real estate or building information, and transmits a search information result to the client. In addition, various kinds of detailed information such as the market price, an article for sale, building information, and store information is displayed in a terminal device of the client. If the client selects hyperlink information of a real estate intermediation web site out of the detailed information, the client is connected to a web site by the hyperlink information.? KIPO 2003
