PURPOSE : A method and device for recovering a real estate of load/unload zones on a data storage medium within a data storage device to increase a data storage capacity are provided to utilize a hard disk where an unused read/recording space located in load/unload zones or a real estate is recovered, thereby using additional surface areas while increasing a storage capacity and efficiency of a hard disk drive.CONSTITUTION : A drive(111) has an outer housing or base(113) for receiving plural magnetic disks(115) which are accumulated in parallel at certain intervals while being adjacent to each other. The disks(115) are rotated by a spindle motor assembly having a central driving hub(117). An actuator(121) includes plural parallel actuator arms(125) mounted on the base(113) to pivot upon a pivot assembly(123).
