A conveyancing system comprises : at least one producer devices connected to a server through a network which are operated by respective producers such as lawyers, solicitors, licensed conveyancers, legal executives, paralegals and/or law firm employees; at least one interested party devices connected to a server through a network which are operated by respective interested parties such as real estate agents, mortgage brokers and/or personal bankers; a plurality of transaction status reports maintained in computer memory representing respective property transactions and a transaction manager configured to permit select producers and/or interested parties access to at least one transaction status reports and further configured to compose a data file representing part of a transaction status report and to transmit the data file to selected producers and/or interested parties over the network.
