The hardtop structure goes on the bodywork (1) of a vehicle with a passenger compartment (2) which is open at the top and protected against rollover. The rigid hardtop, which is also suitable for an estate car, can be fitted above the passenger compartment, extending as far as the rear end (6) of the bodywork.
