PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an information providing system relative to real estate property for effectively preventing a client from making a contract with the owner of mediating property without intervention of a real estate agent. SOLUTION : This information providing system is provided with a management server 1 which is provided with : a map database 16; an outline map distributing means for receiving land specification information from a portable terminal 5, and for preparing map data in a low level showing the outline locations of the land, and for distributing it to the portable terminal 5; a contact destination information requesting means for requesting the input of contact destination information to the portable terminal 5 when the distribution request of detail information is made from the portable terminal 5; a contact destination recording means for recording the contact destination information received from the portable terminal 5, and for permitting the distribution of the detail information; and a detail map distributing means for distributing high level map data showing the detail locations of the land corresponding to the land specification information when the distribution of the detail information is permitted.
