PURPOSE : A method and a system for calculating a real estate investment cost and index are provided to calculate a real estate purchase/possession cost, calculate a BEP(Break-Even Point) based on a transfer margin, and offer the investment index to compare an investment value of several real estates.CONSTITUTION : An investment amount calculation server(10) receives a signal for requesting a real estate investment cost calculation service from a user terminal(30), authenticates the received service request signal, bills a service charge to the user terminal, and calculates the real estate investment cost/index by using an embedded real estate investment cost calculating module(12). The user terminal receives a result by fixing the desired real estate and inputting data for the fixed real estate to the server. The server includes a real estate information database(11) and a BEP calculating module(13).
