At least one user identification device, in the form of a portable data storage device configured for storage of user identification data, is distributable to at least one user. A data collector, located at a real estate open house, is configured to collect the user identification data from the user identification device. A processing device communicably coupled with the data collector, is configured to transmit the user identification data from the data collector to the database.
